Honesty

Honesty is one of our most important values. When working with young people, honesty equals, integrity and respect. This is pivotal in forming a healthy relationship. It is important to be honest to others, in all aspects and is paramount in information sharing. It is equally important to be honest to yourself asking for help and support where you feel necessary.

Procedures

At A Star Care, we implement the policies & procedures formed by London Safeguarding Children Board. With this, we can be sure that Young people and staff are safeguarded.

Support & Dignity

By listening to the voice of the young people carefully, our staff aim to cater to their needs. We aim to reduce the burden some of the young people bear by listening, advising and empowering them. Every service user has the right to be treated with dignity and respect at all times.

Safety

The safety of young people are paramount. We make sure that they feel safe, secure and their health and wellbeing is brought to the forefront of their care.

Values

Our Staff Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.

At A Star Care, we understand that an important factor in providing a good service to young people is to provide a team who are experienced and multi – skilled.

Staff at A Star Care are all rigorously recruited, vetted, trained and hold an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring certificate. We adhere to the safer recruitment framework; which means all employees must have relevant experience and training in working with young people with complex behavioural needs using different approaches and techniques to reduce the level and frequency of presenting behaviours.
